Rigorous programs and coaching experiences equip education leaders with the skills they need to make lasting improvements. Our focus areas are: Building stronger principals, building stronger superintendents and redesigning leadership structures in schools.
Principals are second only to teachers when it comes to impacting student achievement. Yet districts struggle to find enough principals who are ready to lead. We’re building up the bench by providing practical, job-embedded development to sitting and aspiring principals.
A great superintendent influences the success of every teacher, staff member and student in a district. But the high-stakes nature of the role is driving people away. Holdsworth is working to strengthen the bench statewide by transforming how superintendents are identified, developed and supported.
It’s getting tougher every day for principals to lead schools and dedicate significant time to coaching teachers – especially the newer ones. We’re helping districts redesign roles so that teachers get the support they need while principals get the time and space they need to lead effectively.
