If we don’t catch ourselves and figure out how to re-orient towards a growth mindset, we run the risk of not learning anything from this unprecedented time and setting the wrong example for those around us.
Whether we are dabblers or experts in growth mindset, we always have an opportunity to be closing the gap between knowing and doing.
“As leaders, we often skip over the invitation to reflect on our own practice and those narratives and voices in our heads that might be constraining what is possible for us,” Lindsay said. “That might be sending messages that we don’t intend.”
In other words, growth mindset isn’t just for kids, it’s for leaders too.
“Whether we are dabblers or experts in growth mindset, we always have an opportunity to be closing the gap between knowing and doing.”
