On Monday, Laredo ISD celebrated the announcement of a five-year partnership with the Holdsworth Center Educational Leadership Institute after a months-long interview process of 43 separate school districts around Texas.
The official announcement was viewed in the LISD board room, where district officials awaited the news from Holdsworth’s Facebook page. As the news broke, the group cheered and set off confetti poppers.
Out of those 43 districts, only six were chosen to be a part of the third Holdsworth cohort.
