It terrifies Dallas schools chief Michael Hinojosa to think about what might happen if some of his high school principals decide to leave or retire.
Filling those roles is a challenge, he said, and finding the right leader is key to creating a positive culture on one of the city’s sprawling urban campuses.
That’s why he’s thrilled that Dallas ISD is one of six districts chosen this year to partner with The Holdsworth Center, a public education leadership institute that’s the brainchild of Charles Butt, H-E-B’s chairman.
