Dallas ISD
At Brashear, 80% of second-grade English learners reached the top tier on vocabulary assessments, up from roughly 40% prior to the program.
1. Dallas ISD
At Walnut Hill, only 10% of a group of 31 third grade English language learners were meeting grade level in math. At the end of the program, 71% scored above grade level.

Ector County ISD
Ross focused on a group of 26 fourth grade students, none of whom were meeting grade level in math (0%). By the end of the year, 58% of the targeted group were at or above grade level.

Garland ISD
In a group of 76 sixth grade Hispanic students, only 22% were meeting grade level in reading. By the end of the program, that number tripled to 72%.

Laredo ISD
The Cigarroa team identified 29 emergent bilingual students who had passed the Algebra I state end-of-year test (0%). After Holdsworth, 90% passed the exam, putting them back on track to graduate.

At the beginning of the year, only 13% of a group of 24 special education students were passing the math STAAR test. By the end of the year, the number quadrupled to 58%.

Texas public schools face a growing crisis: educators are leaving faster than districts can replace them. Burnout, lack of support and systemic pressures have created a revolving door of talent in our schools. In Texas, one in five school leaders exits annually.
It also leaves districts scrambling to fill classrooms with underprepared teachers, which directly harms students learning. In 2024-25, over half of newly-hired teachers are uncertified.
