Alejandra brings an enthusiasm and love for education to her role as program coordinator.

She was previously the American Historical Association Career Diversity Fellow within The University of Texas at Austin’s Department of History. During her time in Austin, Alejandra has worked for the Bullock Texas State History Museum, the Texas State Historical Association and the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.

In her various roles, Alejandra was an education program assistant, social media coordinator, and event planner. She brings all those skills and a passion for the Holdsworth mission to her current position.

She began her Holdsworth journey on the communications team in June 2020 before accepting a full-time position in June 2021.

Alejandra earned a bachelor’s degree in history, with a minor in journalism, from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where she graduated summa cum laude. She holds a doctorate in history from The University of Texas at Austin.

In her free time, she enjoys cuddling with her cat, Andi, exploring Austin’s food scene and binging on various television shows.
