Ameer Mobarak is a financial leader with 15 years of experience and a deep passion for education and the arts and the way they impact a young person’s journey.
Most recently, Ameer served as the director of finance at ZACH Theatre, Austin’s largest professional theatre, where he oversaw financial operations and led the creation of the annual budget. Prior to ZACH, Ameer served at various nonprofits, including KIPP Texas and Austin Groups for the Elderly. He also has experience as assistant controller at Living Direct, an ecommerce business specializing in niche household appliances.
In his free time, Ameer enjoys acting with various theatres across Central Texas and serves as treasurer of Central Texas Theatre Academy in Wimberley, Texas.
Ameer holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Texas Austin.
