Over a career spanning three continents and two sectors, Chastity Lovely passionately believes in the transformative power of education to help build our capacity to imagine and implement societal change.
As a Texas native and proud graduate of Dallas Independent School District, she is excited to support building a more equitable future for students in Texas.
Prior to joining Holdsworth, Chastity held several programmatic roles planning and implementing a range of residential courses at Harvard Business School (HBS). She also supported a design thinking field immersion course with a group of MBA students in Vietnam.
Previous to that, she managed a global portfolio of HBS leadership and executive education residential programs delivered in India, China, and Boston.
In addition to her experience in program development and operations, Chastity taught English as a foreign language in Egypt, South Korea and the U.S., where she loved to encourage the storytellers in her students.
Her first career was as a book publicist, where she read books for a living and ran publicity campaigns for literary and current affairs authors at Doubleday Broadway and Henry Holt & Co.
Chastity holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Bryn Mawr College and a master’s in Middle East studies from the University of Chicago.
Chastity lives in Austin and loves traveling, eating new foods, hiking, reading and watching British detective shows.
