Janay Boykin comes to Holdsworth from Alief ISD where she served for 11 years as a teacher, instructional specialist, assistant principal and project manager.
In her most recent role, Boykin served as Teacher Incentive Allotment Project Manager, where she created a designation system for her district and led multiple project teams and a calibration initiative across the district. Boykin understands the importance of making decisions based on data and leverages her skills to support sustainable and equitable systems in education.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Prairie View A&M University and a master’s degree from University of Houston – Clear Lake and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at Houston Christian University. In her spare time, Boykin enjoys fitness, family and leisure.
