Joi Bailey Green comes to Holdsworth with 29 years of experience in public education and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Most recently, Joi worked in human resources for a large Houston school district managing district attendance, substitutes, coordination of university recruiting, and district events including career fairs, district-wide meetings and the district’s annual service and retirement process and banquet.
Before that she served as the grant manager for a two-year teacher incentive program designed to improve student performance through financial incentives.
Joi began her career as a classroom teacher, teaching a little bit of everything between first and eighth grades.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in applied learning and development from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in administration and supervision from the University of Houston – Victoria.
In her free time, Joi feeds her love/hate relationship with politics and current events, makes things pretty through crafting and decorating, writes lengthy Facebook posts and watches reality television. She shares a home with her three children and one very hairy dog.
