Liz Neff has worked in non-profits for over 13 years.

Most recently, Liz worked at Austin ISD’s Office of Innovation & Development raising money for the Austin Ed Fund, which has provided nearly $12 million to support the district and its teachers, administrators and students.

At Holdsworth, Liz hopes to bring more collaboration and partnerships from corporations and individuals to support the work of training inspiring leaders to improve the outcomes and experiences for all students.

Both of Liz’s parents were public school teachers and her mom went into leadership in public higher education. Even her big sister went from being a lawyer to a teacher at one point. She’s witnessed the difference teachers can make for students and the impact good public schools have on children, families and communities.

Liz holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in organizational leadership & ethics from St. Edward’s University.

She lives in Austin with her husband, Brad, and two kids. In her spare time, Liz enjoys volunteering, family movie nights, attending Texas sporting events, hikes, and travel adventures. She is also an amateur gardener and fly fisherwoman.
