Holdsworth Firsthand

Leaders say the Aspiring Superintendent Accelerator helped pull back the curtain on the realities of the superintendent’s role.

Stephanie Powelson-Garza
I believe this program is going to prepare me for the superintendency because of the real-world application and the level of coaching that we are receiving.

Stephanie Powelson-Garza

Donna ISD

Dr. Lisa Adams
This experience has been phenomenal. Most programs are only classroom learning. I’ve never had this level of practical application, plus strong mentorship from both sitting and retired superintendents.

Dr. Lisa Adams

Deputy Superintendent  /  Temple ISD

Dr. Janine Fields
I have a window into the superintendency that I think a lot of people in my role aren't able to have. This program has dramatically changed how I function as a leader.

Dr. Janine Fields

Deputy Superintendent  /  Mesquite ISD

Dr. Marcelo Cavazos
It’s like a medical residency for superintendents. We put them in as many real-life or simulated scenarios as possible to get them ready. It’s one thing to watch your superintendent run a board meeting, quite another when you’re the one in the hot seat answering tough questions.

Dr. Marcelo Cavazos

Holdsworth Executive Superintendent-in-Residence
