Webinar: Conducting student interviews with Tradition Elementary

At Tradition Elementary in East Central ISD, something shifted when Principal Karen Kopeck and her leadership team began listening differently. As part of Holdsworth’s Campus Leadership Program, the team conducted empathy interviews — structured conversations designed to hear directly from students about their experience in school. What students shared changed how the team thought about their work and led to targeted solutions that helped move Tradition from an F to a B rating on state assessments. In this webinar, Kopeck and her team share how they ran the interviews, what students told them and what changed as a result.
