It’s not uncommon for a leader’s job to feel so big, it’s simply undoable.

Trying to be superheroes to fit the job description isn’t the solution. Leaders should investigate whether the job description – or the way they approach their job – needs to change instead.

In this video, Holdsworth President Lindsay Whorton talks about how to make leadership roles more doable by focusing on the right things, not all the things.

The video was recorded at Power Trip 2022, a conference for women leaders in school districts, and is paired with reflection questions for ease of use either individually or with a team.
