Holdsworth “put the joy back” into teaching at Houston school

At Ogden Elementary in Aldine ISD, consistently low scores had teachers and leaders feeling disheartened.

After joining one of Holdsworth’s rigorous leadership programs, they got the time and tools needed to investigate the problem and test different solutions.

The result was phenomenal student growth within the space of a year – and a feeling of renewed hope.

“It put the joy back into being an educator,” said Allester Taylor, a teacher at Ogden.
