Armando A. Perez serves as the Executive Vice President for H-E-B Houston, where he leads nearly 35,000 H-E-B Houston-area Partners (employees) in delivering exceptional products and services across the H-E-B, Joe V’s Smart Shop, and Mi Tienda banners throughout the greater Houston region.
Mr. Perez brings 31 years of dedicated service to H-E-B. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas – Pan American and has further honed his leadership skills through advanced management programs at both Cornell and Harvard Universities.
A strong advocate for community advancement, Mr. Perez is deeply committed to civic engagement in Houston. His passion is evident through his extensive service in numerous leadership roles. He currently serves on the board of the Greater Houston Partnership and is slated to become its incoming Chairman. Previously, he held the chairman role for both the United Way of Greater Houston and the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he is a current board member of Performing Arts Houston and the Baker Institute for Public Policy. His past board affiliations include the Houston Food Bank, the Kinder Institute Advisory Board, and The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Foundation.
Armando resides in Houston with his wife, Corina, and their two children, Anyssa and Daniel.
