Dorothy M. Ables

Dorothy M. Ables is a community volunteer having retired from Spectra Energy as chief administrative officer after serving in leadership positions for more than 30 years. She serves on the boards of Coterra Energy and Martin Marietta Materials.

Dorothy is a member of the board and executive committee for the United Way of Greater Houston and the board of Houston Methodist Hospital Foundation where she chairs the Neal Cancer Center Council. She is a former Community Campaign Chair for the United Way, past president of the Junior League of Houston and the Children’s Fund. She is a past co-chair of the Houston chapter of Women Corporate Directors.

Ms. Ables graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting.
