Jerry Rios is an enterprise technologist that brings more than two decades of technology experience to his role at Holdsworth. He spent most of his career in advertising and marketing, most recently in the cultural exchange field.

Prior to joining Holdsworth, Jerry served as CIO for the Alliance Abroad Group, where he led mission-critical information technology functions for national and international companies.

At GSD&M Advertising, Jerry served as the CTO working on technology solutions that supported the enterprise and the branding and digital marketing efforts of major national and international corporations such as the U.S. Air Force, American Petroleum Institute, AT&T, Avocados from Mexico, BMW, Dodge, Goodyear, Hampton Inn, Hilton, John Deere, L.L. Bean, Popeyes, Radio Shack, Southwest Airlines, Walgreens and Walmart.

His technology team at GSD&M was recognized for five straight years as Computerworld Honors Program Laureate recipients for the visionary application of information technology to promote positive social, economic and educational change. In 2016, he was listed as a technology contributor in the credits for a highly coveted Cannes Festival Silver Lion in the Digital Craft Category for the Airforce.com website.

Jerry’s interest in serving educational leaders was inspired by Roberto Lujan, his El Paso ISD printing trades instructor, as well as his daughter’s experiences in the Leander ISD Vandergrift High School Band and Vision Dance Company under the direction of Mike Howard.

Jerry is a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising.

When he isn’t exploring, activating and enhancing the latest in technology, you’ll find him experimenting with home automation, traveling, exploring wineries and attending Texas Longhorn Football and Volleyball games.
